The announcement was made today at the 2008 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference in Orlando, Florida.

The Meddius Integration Router provides data transformation, communication and routing functions between clinical applications. Its core engine provides transport mediation and message transformation between disparate formats, including HL7 v2.x and v3.x, X12, EDI, DICOM, XML, binary and legacy formats. About the Performance Testing
Using the Integration Router as a persistent store-and-forward HL7 engine, numerous internal, load testing cycles were performed. The appliance showed it could consistently simultaneously send and receive up to 1550 messages per second, with a standard deviation of +/- 20 messages per second.  The resulting transformation and routing statistics clearly illustrate that the Integration Router’s raw performance is faster than any other integration appliance on the market.
