Implementation Manager
Meddius is looking for a full-time Implementation Manager to join our energetic, multi-disciplinary team. This new team member will play a multi-faceted role within Meddius: first and foremost this position will be responsible for all aspects of multiple concurrent customer implementations- overseeing every stage of new implementations, the ongoing delivery of services in a steady-state environment, and the resolution of service delivery issues. The Implementation Manager serves as a client-facing leader, overseeing the day-to-day relationships with our clients, and providing thoughtful and pragmatic leadership.
This position is responsible for managing customer implementations from inception through completion, managing expectations and ensuring that Meddius’ services meet client requirements. Implementation Managers also coordinate technical support staff activities, represent clients internally, develop documentation, and create and manage budgets and schedules. This position collaborates with discipline leads on resource planning and allocation across implementations. The role is responsible for budget control and cost analysis on their implementations and communicating such details to the management team. All issues impacting deliverables, schedules, and budget are maintained with thorough, organized documentation. Proactively understanding and communicating schedule and scope changes is imperative.
Travel Expectations: Minimal travel (less than 10%)
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience is required.
- A minimum of three (3) years of project management experience in information systems, including direct experience managing large, complex, mission-critical systems. Experience in healthcare and/or financial environments is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple projects and prioritizing related tasks in order to meet projected deadlines while efficiently employing available resources.
- Excellent analytical ability and interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate effectively with senior management and other staff members.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while delivering outstanding customer service to multiple clients
